Parking At Ewelme Primary School

At the start and finish of the school day, we operate an unofficial one-way system, circling around the grounds of the school and church.

We ask that parents “drive up” The Street, and park on the left-hand side of the road (school on the left). Never park on the zigzag lines. If there are no spaces, either continue driving just a short distance to the Cow Common car park, or turn left by the car park and park behind the church (on your left). It is a short distance to walk down through the church and almshouses. To return to the village, just continue along the road bearing left, in effect creating a circle.

• Do not reverse up the slope by the school playground with the intention of turning your car around.  Continue to circle around the school as above.
• Out of consideration for our neighbours living in the almshouses, please walk through quietly. Also, do not let your children play or run around on the grassy bank belonging to the house at the left side of the school, as this is part of their garden.

Where Not To Park 

• On the yellow zig-zag lines – not at any time, even for a moment.
• On the main entrance slope, spur off to the right, leading to the kitchen door, this is for the catering vehicle.
• On the main entrance gravel slope leading to the front door, this is for visitors, emergency vehicles, contractors and staff.
