HOUSES & COUNCIL
School Houses
There are four houses in Ewelme. These are named after major features in our local enviornment; Thames, Swyncombe, Ridgeway and Chilterns.
Every child is placed in a house and these houses compete for house points throughout the week. Awards are usually given at an achievement assembly at the end of the week. At the end of the term, points are totalled to find the overall winning house. The house captains immediately take possession of the Cup which is filled with lots of treats! The winning house earns a ‘House Treat’ at the end of each term, for example visiting the park or watching a movie!
School Council
We have a school council that meets regularly to discuss issues raised in the school community and take responsibility for promoting and implementing ‘green’ policies and charitable activities.
Congratulations to the School Council…for submitting a school project to the Speaker’s School Council Awards 2017.
To celebrate this achievement we have been awarded a badge from The Houses of Parliament to show on our website.
Other Pupil Roles
